Embark on a culinary journey around the Malay Archipelago this National Day with the new Peranakan Afternoon Tea at Pacific Marketplace.

Presented in a four-tiered tiffin carrier, the Peranakan Afternoon Tea features an array of eight Nonya delights including Kuay Pie Tee with Sweet Turnip and Prawn, Open-Face Otak Sandwich and Quail Egg, and the aromatic Nonya Chicken Curry made from homemade rempah paste.

Those with a sweet tooth are not forgotten. Dessert highlights include Kueh Lapis and Onde Onde, topped with luscious coconut shavings and filled with fragrant palm sugar. Guests may also reminisce over unlimited Ais Gem biscuits, a local snack characterized by colourful sugar frosting that is sure to bring back memories of childhood.

Pacific Marketplace spices up an otherwise staid meal – lunch - with an innovative sandwich menu available daily from 11am to 3pm. Freshly-baked at the hotel daily, the breads and sandwiches were created based on the five flavour profiles – sweet, salty, sour, bitter and umami.

In celebration of Father’s Day, Pastry Chef Philip Lee and Master Butcher Quinton Sim team up to present beer-based desserts and sausages at Pan Pacific Singapore.

Escape to a cosy afternoon tea buffet at the Pacific Marketplace for a leisurely tête-a- tête with Dad. Classic Afternoon Tea sandwiches such as Smoked Salmon with Roast Pepper Remoulade on Brioche loaf are complemented with Pan Pacific sausage sliders – choose from Pork Bockwurst with sauerkraut and mustard or Merguez Sausage with fresh mint mayonnaise and cucumber pickle. For a sweet finish, round up Afternoon Tea with the unique Beer-amisu, Blackberry Beer Jelly, and Beer Loaf Cake with Citrus Peel, created by Pastry Chef Philip specially for Father’s Day.
